Keeping up with Kylie? The bizarre lip mask infused with 'dragon's blood' from the Amazonian jungle that Kim Kardashian swears by for a plump pout
Mrs Kardashian-West swears by a quirky lip mask infused with dragon's blood for achieving her luscious lips.
The secret ingredient is a bizarre dragon's blood extract, which is found in the sap from the Croton Lechleri tree found deep within the Amazonian rainforest.
Also known as Sangre de Drago and Sangre de Grado, the sap has been used by indigenous tribes for years as a topical aid for cuts, bites, burns, stings, rashes, abrasions, sores, and wounds.
As Medicine Hunter reports: 'The sap is rich in protective antioxidant phenols and anti-inflammatory compounds. Due to these compounds, the sap helps to protect the cells of the skin, and reduces redness and swelling.

Also known as Sangre de Drago and Sangre de Grado, the sap from the Croton Lechleri tree has been used by indigenous tribes for years as a topical aid for cuts, bites, burns, stings, rashes, abrasions, sores, and wounds.
It's rich in protective antioxidant phenols and anti-inflammatory compounds.
'It also contains a group of compounds called proanthocyanidins, which actually repair collagen. The lattice-like main protein that makes up much of our tissues. Additionally, Dragon's blood contains taspine, a known tissue-healing agent.'
