A real-life adventure series, Medicine Trail takes viewers around the globe in search of
natural cures. Chris Kilham is a medicine hunter, whose exploits have been
featured on television worldwide, and in hundreds of articles. In Medicine
Trail, Chris Kilham takes viewers to exotic locales to meet with medicine
men and women, to reveal beneficial plants that promote healing, while
working to protect the natural environment and traditional cultures at the
same time. Along the way, life on the medicine trail unfolds in the form of
shamanic rituals, outlandish cultural scenes, breathtaking scenery, and the
discovery of healing plants that can change the face of medicine. In
Medicine Trail, Wild Kingdom meets MTV, and modern medicine meets
firewalking. From the Amazon rainforest to the Siberian Altay, from the
Peruvian highlands to far-flung islands in the South Pacific, Medicine Trail
takes viewers places they have never seen, introduces them to experiences
they know little or nothing about, and shows how good works arise from the
profound power of nature. Smart, intense, funny, fast-paced, authentic and
surprising, Medicine Trail is the first ever series of its kind. Medicine
Trail - One Tribe, One Vibe.
